Thematic dialogue on “Social media and children’s mental health: current situation and possible responses”

This event is organised by the Steering Committee for the Rights of the Child (CDENF), in cooperation with the Steering Committee for Human Rights in the fields of Biomedicine and Health (CDBIO), under the auspices of Monaco’s Presidency of the Council of Europe. 

It will contribute to the New Democratic Pact for Europe and provide an opportunity to address the links between exposure to social media, children’s well-being and mental health, as well as policy responses aimed at limiting risks to children. Discussions will highlight contemporary challenges relating to children’s protection, well-being and participation in the digital environment. 

Mr Christophe ROBINO, Minister of Social Affairs and Health, will represent the Principality at this event.
