Round table - Rencontres philosophiques de Monaco
The "Rencontres philosophiques de Monaco" provide a space for dialogue, transmission and the sharing of rigorous yet accessible philosophy. They welcome thinkers who contribute to contemporary reflection while addressing the widest possible audience, for whom philosophy offers essential tools to better understand the world, society, others and oneself.
A conference organised in collaboration with Le Grand Continent will explore the theme "Europe: heritage and promise". How should we think about this heritage, which enabled a long era of peace, in an international context marked by heightened tensions and widespread mistrust? What can be promised to future generations in the face of inward-looking tendencies encouraged by threats from third countries or external interference? How can Europe overcome its sense of powerlessness and unite diverse populations around a common ideal that is more fragile than ever?
